Enable Voicemail Transcription
Scope
This article outlines how to enable voicemail transcription on a user. Voicemail transcription is a billable feature, so make sure the pricing for this is approved before doing so.
Requirements
- White Label Access to Manager Portal or higher
Note: VM transcription only occurs if the user has vm-to-email configured. If they have transcription enabled but do not receive vm-to-email notifications of any kind, transcription does not happen.
- Log in to the Manager Portal
- Navigate to the client domain you wish to open
- Click on Users
- Select the user you would like to enable transcription on
- Click the Voicemail tab
- Scroll down to Unified Messaging
- Set Voicemail Transcription to Enabled and click Save
