Configure Snom PA1

Scope

The following document will show you how to manually provision a Snom PA1 system

 

Requirements

  • Access to Snom web GUI
  • Access to Manager Portal
  • An unassigned SIP phone must be available on the user
 

 

Configure Snom PA1

  1. Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone.
  2. Under the Setup tab on the left, click Identity 1.
  3. In the Login section, fill in SIP Credentials:
    1. Identity Active: ON
    2. Display Name: Username from the phone settings
    3. Account: Username from the phone settings.
    4. Password: Password from the phone settings.
    5. Registrar: Domain/Proxy from the phone settings
    6. Outbound Proxy: Outbound Proxy from the phone settings
    7. Authentication Username: Username from the phone settings
  4. Press Apply
  5. A notification will appear indicating that there are unsaved changes. Click Save.
  6. Go to the SIP section on the top row.
  7. Fill in settings to match below information.
    1. Proxy Require: Outbound Proxy from the phone settings
    2. Auto Answer: on
  8. Click Apply, then Save.
